So THIS is a Blizzard

I have to say, it was nice to have walking be the only option of transportation for that few days. We all got out of our houses, talked to our neighbors, and enjoyed a slower pace of time.

It took only about 48 hours for that to end and for the rude honking of car vs. car in a one-lane street to begin. And for the first time I understood when people feel a sense of ownership over a parking spot they dug out themselves.

I would have taken more photos if I hadn't destroyed my waterproof boots on a hike up Mt. Greylock over the summer. I'll post those photos, documenting the last hours of those boots' lives, next, since we all need to be reminded that summer and greenery indeed exists and will one day be here.
